80W power supply in non-stop operation
In the field of distribution technology for television reception and data communication, the durability in 24/7 operation and the reliability of power supplies are of enormous importance. They also have to be very robust, as they are exposed to extreme temperature fluctuations and EMC interference.
This high-tech product features a second output voltage with a very small but very powerful DC/DC converter. Compensating for the temperature development of the IC, which provides the second output voltage with 3.5 V, in a safe yet cost-effective manner was challenging.

A high-degree of Ex protection
This power supply solution is used in potentially explosive atmospheres and was developed in line with strict explosion protection criteria.
In principle, IECEx units may only be manufactured by certified production facilities. In addition, compliance with international explosion protection standards from the IEC 60079-x series of standards is required, with those standards in turn being subject to certain directives as EU versions.

Robust AC/DC power supply for network systems
This power supply is used in automation and telecontrol equipment, where it is exposed to high ambient temperatures (sometimes 70 °C outside the housing) and must itself maintain low self-heating. Advanced control technology displays supply voltage, overcurrent and temperature via LEDs and signal contacts.
The classified overvoltage category III and a long mains failure bridging time of 100 ms meet the special requirements such as reliability and safety.

320mA KNX power supply, compact and durable
Bei dieser Baugruppe war eine Bauform von nur 2TE gefordert. Nicht nur die sich daraus ergebende Platzersparnis ist bedeutend, sondern auch die hohe Schutzklasse des Geräts gemäß Überspannungskategorie III.
Demzufolge findet eine zwar kleine, aber leistungsstarke und zuverlässige Stromversorgung im Bereich der Gebäudeautomation hohen Anklang.

Innovative power supply delights cooking enthusiasts
An intelligent and highly efficient power supply was designed to drive a motorised application in a domestic environment. The very low standby losses and the self-settable sleep mode “Wake up” are decisive.
A buffer also ensures enough energy to stop the motorised movement in the event of power failure. The contact protection made of an individually constructed insulation material saves on an expensive housing.
